Lucien didn’t think it was a good idea for me to travel with Lisa, not after it was confirmed to me that someone is really after her life. Alvin didn’t give me a reason for why they hated her specifically. Though, if he said his sister was taken, then something else must be at play here and I want to figure that out.
Lisa was sleeping by the time the flight landed so I moved her to the car. She woke at that point and bruised herself with looking out of the window. I couldn’t see much of reflection but I wished I could see the look of wonder in her eyes. She always has it when we’re somewhere new. I often forget how extremely sheltered she is, and it is probably wrong to want to show her the world just because seeing her happy gives me a weird kick.
