aori heard the explosion, felt it vibrating through the ground. He paused in his work, reached with his mind, searching. Picket and Duinn were dull points of concern. At first he could not find Aramina, then suddenly she flared to life with anger. Shaking his head, he turned back to his project.
"Hold that rope steady," he said to Donnach. The lad nodded, perspiration beading on his brow. His fingers moved faster than lightening, creating cat cradles and lady feathers, sustaining levitation spells and bindings. He was really talented, albeit mostly self taught.
