CHAPTER ELEVEN It was hard to breathe. Jovanna forced breath into her lungs. Her ears were ringing loudly, but at least the magic wasn’t pounding at her anymore. She continued to lay there until she could somewhat breathe again. She got up slowly. She was surprised to see several elves up and moving. She thought for sure they had all died.
