Aramis found Talvaard to be not so unlike his own kingdom. Having grown up his entire life knowing they were at war with their neighboring kingdom, he had always assumed the place was … different. But what he found was that the people were just like his own. They tended their fields, worked various jobs, and went about their daily lives.
