CHAPTER 3 : SCHOOL

The next morning Ashira went with her senior brother to register into the school two of her brothers were also attending the school so her parents were at ease sending her there.

the school was located In the middle of the city it was really huge compared to her old school, the school was. beautiful yes but she was here to show that she was not only a pretty face but that she had brains to back up her beauty she was led to the teachers building where she collected the necessary information on her class because of her formally poor grades she was placed in class 11the lowest class of her grade her brother tried to get her into class 1 but she refused knowing that her creepy fake cousin was there and she didn't want to have to see her face every single day so she decided to remain in class11 her brother made sure the best resources would be sent to class11 and he only left after making sure she would be alright.

she was surprised that he even took his time to settle her into the school.

After registration she was shown her class when she entered what she saw amazed her . students on their phones, some were talking in groups while others were doing their makeup she was shocked that there was no teacher in their class she wanted to ask where she could sit when a teacher entered their class

the teacher introduced her to the class but no one seemed to care they just went back to their phones she asked the teacher where she could sit but the teacher said she could sit anywhere she wanted so she picked a seat in the back where a student was sleeping she sat down when everyone turned to look at her and told her to get up when she asked "does he bite" and they shake their head in disagreement then she simply brought out her books and put them on the table when the boy sleeping beside her said who are you calling a dog

The boy raised his head with a scowl on his face but when he saw her face his expression changed.

They attended the same middle school and she used to look out for him so he used to call her sister

Ashira looked at him and smiled "hi Jerome" he then said "sister" everyone in the class turned to look at them with pure shock. the teacher started the class after that and Jerome sat straight through out the entire lesson for the first time.

By the time it was break Ashira and Jerome went to the cafeteria to get their lunches, Jerome insisted on getting food for both of them and she let him.

she picked a table to sit at and decided to read a book. when she heard the sound of trays hitting the table she looked up only to see her fifth and sixth brothers Abe and Ace who were freternal twins with two of their friends and her eyes met with the one beside Ace who stared for some time before looking away she looked away when she heard Jerome's voice and he took a seat beside her brothers and Jerome said in unison

"who is he"

"who are they"

they all stared at her and she turned to Jerome saying "they are my brothers" and turned to Jerome "he is my classmate and we've known each other since middle school.

Her brothers were a bit jealous that they only found her yesterday but Jerome had already known her for do long then they looked at Jerome and said"stay- away-from-my-sister then Ace brought out a lunch box "mom told the chef to prepare this for you and he pulled the tray of food that Jerome brought away from her front and Abe said it's not. healthy enough for you and you are too skinny you have to eat good food to gain weight.

she wanted to ask them that whether they could stay healthy while eating cafeteria food while she could not she just gave up the idea of arguing and ate her food in silence

After lunch her brothers insisted on walking her to her class because they didn't trust Jerome she just continued reading her book when she heard her brothers scream by the time she looked up the boy whose eyes met with hers called Damien was holding a bell that was really close to her face then her brothers were checking if she got injured with worry etched on their faces and she could only shyly say she was fine because they were treating her like a kid the owner of the ball came to ask for forgiveness but her brothers were too annoyed to listen to their pleas she could only meditate by telling the boy it was alright when ace suddenly popped the ball like a balloon and everyone was shocked the boys who were playing with the ball were looking at him like he was a monster and they started shaking uncontrollably then he smirked at them and said get lost

they ran like their lives depended on it.

she was still in a daze when Ace made her look at him and said "if such a thing happens again come to me got it" she nodded but she couldn't deny that she was also intimidated by his aura at this moment he looked like the grim reaper with a handsome face and she was happy his anger was not directed at her

she was now standing in front of her class with Jerome, her brothers and their friends who insisted on walking her to her class when the monitor sounded and all the students were asked to come to the sports field for PE

that was the only class where the entire school usually met and this school values students physical fitness so they had PE classes every afternoon three times a week excluding Mondays and Wednesdays

they were all asked to change into their PE clothes and Ashira was a bit shocked by how the school worked now she understood why the majority of students were rich heirs and heiresses.

after changing the new students including her and three other guys from her class were asked to run a 400 metre dash, many of the students were certain she would lose and her brothers and Jerome were trying to convince the PE teacher to let her off so she wouldn't have to run but the PE teacher was a big CEO of a large company who just decided to take PE for fun so he was not intimidated by them then she agreed to run.

when the whistle was blown to start the race she took off like a bolt of lightning and left all her competitors behind , everyone was in awe at how fast she was running with her small build.

in the past she mastered every skill she could think of so her bitchy fake cousin would never be bullied in any field but now she is happy she mastered all the athletic sports as well now those skills are coming in handy.

she soon crossed the finish line leaving everyone behind all the eyes that looked at her with mockery were now staring at her with admiration and she sincerely felt proud that she was able to do something to make people see her as a person.

Abe came running with a water bottle that he handed to her then she felt someone staring and made eye contact with Damien who was staring at her with an inexplicable look in his eyes.
