Chapter 26
Frank drove the crotchety panel van to the airport, exiting at the Air Cargo section. Boris, Yakov, and Kaplan rode in the back, doing their final weapons check.
Boris told Frank where to turn, and soon he saw a typical air freight building with warehouse in back and offices up front. Redland Imports blazed above the entrance in glowing scarlet letters four feet tall.
The parking lot held no vehicles.
Frank drove to the next facility and parked. The weeds growing through the cracked pavement plus the boards over most of the windows meant no security guards.
He hoped, anyway.
The four men got out, stretched, and moved toward Kulish’s place, bent low, trotting in a zig-zag pattern toward a chain link fence. Low hedges on either side partially masked the fence.
