Chapter Ten Shawnee TownThe Indians pushed the three prisoners ahead of them down to the banks of the river where there were several canoes pulled up along the bank. Scar motioned for Jonathan to get into one and pushed Jonas and Joshua toward another. The rest of Scar’s braves began stacking booty from the Hershberger farm in the remaining canoes. Behind them the sky was bright from the burning barn and house.
