Chapter 29 - Eyes Will Tell
The finals exam week is fast approaching. While Kale is in Malaysia, I spent most of my time reviewing and doing research. I have made up my mind to end it with him right after this semester. I can no longer carry the burden of continuing what we have. It will damage both of our reputation, and it will invalidate my achievements. I know if others find out about us, they will think that I'm sleeping with my professor to get good grades and they will start saying vile things. Just thinking about that possibility scares me a lot. For sure that Kale noticed how cold my replies are. He's trying hard to keep our conversation going everytime. This is just not the right time for us. I have other priorities, and I don't want to cause him trouble. When Kale returned, he summoned me into his office
