New Fate

I still can’t believe about what just happened. I am still me but a janitor. Stella is here but with change of personality. Why pull a prank like this?

“Stella.” I was about to say something but she stop me.

“For the last time, this is not a prank! Why the hell would I do that?! I don’t have time to play around when I have a family to feed!” she exploded. I-zip my mouth because of her outbursts.

“I’m sorry. I won’t ask again.” Finally, I uttered some words. God, she’s scary.

“Now, let’s get back to work before that witch come back.” She went inside the cubicle and starts cleaning.

What is really happening? I trace back my recent memory and I find nothing strange. Suddenly, I remember the strange words that Ate Gina said.

“I think it will happen this time.” She said those words. Is this what she meant about those words? Is this related to those wishes we had? As far as I can remember, I did make a wish.

But..

I wish to be rich!

This is not what I wanted! I always working hard in everything I do and now you give me a life worse than my previous life?! Is it fun to watch me suffer?

“Millie, why are still standing there?!” she really like to interrupt me, huh? Gosh, I hate the new Stella.

“I’m sorry. I’ll start now.” I said and started cleaning.

Afternoon came and we are currently taking a break. We eat our lunch and we will go back at 2pm. It’s 1pm now and I chose to roam around the building to know what is really happening.

After 30 minutes of investigating, I learned that I am still working at the same company! This is insane! I notice that I saw a familiar figure. I am sure that it’s that person even though I didn’t see the face. I followed her. I was about to get closer to her when a person grab my arm. I saw Aliza. The fat witch that Stella called.

“There you are. Stop sneaking around and get back to work!” God, this woman is the most annoying person I have ever met.

“But, it’s still 1:30pm.” I reason out.

“We will clean the restrooms of the 30th floor so we better be on time.” She widen her eyes while explaining.

I follow her and saw Stella with two other janitors. She just give me a bored look. We went inside the elevator and after 10 minutes we arrive. They walk so fast and I am behind. The place is so busy. Then suddenly someone bump me at my back. I smell wine and I felt a cold liquid in my back. Oh no. Geez, why I’m currently wearing a white t-shirt today? The employee endlessly asking for my forgiveness and say that he will bring new clothes immediately.

“The CEO maybe so depress right now because he’s asking wine in the broad daylight.” Stella said after the scene. After 10 minutes, the employee did came and bring new set of clothes.

“Millie, just go ahead because I forgot that I have something to say to Aliza.” I nodded and I go inside the restroom and decided to change there. I put the new clothes beside the next cubicle because I can’t find any place to put it. I strip and has no clothes on except for my underwear. I was about to grab the clothes when someone grab it first.

“Hey, what are you doing? Those are my clothes!” she didn’t replied instead she replace it with new clothes. What the hell? I want to go out and confront the thief but I am almost naked.

Should I wear this instead? Before I made my decision, I hear the next cubicle open and finally I hear the person speak.

“Wear those clothes please? I really need to go somewhere.” I can only imagine her pleading. I didn’t reply and I never hear her speak again. I then decided to wear her clothes because I can’t stay in the cubicle forever. I unlock the cubicle door and go out. I saw myself in the mirror. I look different.

“Gosh, she’s rich and I wonder why is she running away?” I look like I fit in her world.

“There you are!” I got surprise when a guy suddenly walk inside girl’s restroom and two other guy went in. They are wearing black formal clothes. A clothes for a bodyguard. Are these people her bodyguards? Gosh what the hell did I just put myself into?
