The next morning, Mina lay awake in her bed, thinking about everything Thais had told her the night before. Mina considered telling Lord Klodian everything, but she knew it would lead to him asking questions that she wouldn’t be able to answer, not without endangering Copper.
She forced herself out of bed, yawning and stretching. She was tired, but she wanted to get the egg to Copper as soon as possible. The only problem she faced was how to carry it.
