The question plagued Mina as she sat on the floor of Copper’s chamber, waiting for him to return. The Enclave had dismissed her and asked him to remain behind, which only added to her worries.
She doubted Lord Klodian would educate her on how to be a soldier, and Thais was questionable. Caden would be her ideal teacher, but he was in the Dracan Dominion now. Did he know that he was serving such a wicked man? That was another fear added onto her already full plate.
