Thais glared at her, but Mina didn’t shrink away.
“You want me to help you steal something from Lord Klodian, and you don’t see a problem with that? Your promotion must have gone to your head.”
“It is a risk, I’m not denying that, but it’s for the greater good.”

Copper hadn’t sworn Mina to secrecy, but she doubted anyone would believe her tale of talking dragons. People considered them nothing more than mindless animals, and she knew the world wasn’t ready to accept the truth.
