16 Caden found the climb up the mountain less arduous than the first time, but it still proved to be an exhausting task. The sky was clear, a vibrant blue, and the sun beat down directly on him. Sweat seemed to come from his every pore, but unlike the first journey, he stopped periodically to rest and eat the provisions he’d brought. As he topped the ridge where the abandoned temple’s entrance was, he had a sense of foreboding. Now that he knew the voice that had called to him belonged to a dragon, he was unsure about many things.
