Chapter EightPaul stepped into the nave of All Saints church. Arthur was busy fixing a new pulpit light. “Arthur,” he said sternly, “I need a word.” They sat together in a pew, the Gazette articles between them. Paul held up one of the articles. “Joan Preston vanished in Walden in 1985. She was never found. I discovered her booklet recently.” He held up the St Martin's booklet and pointed to the owner's name and the date inside: Joan Preston.
