The moment Dong Li Hua awakened; she was startled to see an IV Drop connected to her. With the monitor beside her bed, she knew she's inside a hospital. Dong Li Hua sat upright and stared on her hands. She noticed the bracelet attached around her wrist. Why did she end up here? Since when did she...

"Xiao Hua!" the door opened. Dong Chun Wu came in with an elated expression. "It's a great news you wake up! I should call Dad and Zhenzhen!"

"Brother, wait!" Dong Li Hua called out. He immediately stopped then faced her. "Why- why am I here?"

"You can't remember?" he frowned and walked towards the bed. Dong Chun Wu gently rubbed the top of her head as if afraid he might hurt her. "Last month, you passed out again. We thought it will only last for days but it turned weeks. Dad was worried and brought you here. The doctor said you are in a temporary coma though they cant find any probable cause. Its a relief that you woke up after four weeks. We were so worried..."

"A month? What is happening? Before, it was only days..." she thought, cold sweat formed on her forehead. Dong Li Hua felt fear from wearing the bracelet because of that. Perhaps, she will forget those memories again. Its better that way. If only she can find a way to get rid of it.

"You look sad. Is something wrong?" Dong Chun Wu noticed her dazed state. He held her hand to assure her. "Thinking of it, you are quite healthy. It's quite strange you are falling into a coma but some doctors thought you have sleep problems."

"I guess. I just had a very weird dream." she unconsciously squeezed Dong Chun Wu's hand. Those danger she experienced were her worse nightmare as of now. "Hm?" Dong Li Hua realized something very odd. If she remembers it correctly, she never wore the bracelet for two years and even when she entered her walk-in-closet.

"Xiao Hua." Dong Chun Wu caught her attention. He softly tucked strands of her hair behind her ear. "We have a guest the day after tomorrow. Dad wants you to meet someone."

"Someone?" stunned, one person came in her mind. It must be her fiance again. But will that always busy fiance of hers truly care?

After getting discharged from the hospital, Dong Li Hua recovered and hid all her worries. Fortunately, the bracelet was not triggered. She decided to keep it back in her closet but Dong Xu insisted to make her wear the bracelet all day.

"Who are we waiting for?" Dong Li Hua asked in puzzlement. They are waiting in the airport, waiting for someone her family won't reveal.

"Sis, no need to be impatient. You'll be happy once you meet our guest." Dong Zhenzhen tittered as they reached deeper into the waiting area.

"Excuse me. I have to take a call first." she noticed her phone was vibrating. Dong Li Hua went out of the crowd to accept her auntie's call but it already stopped ringing. She can't help but frown since she reached a less-crowded part next to a tall plant. Dong Qinling is her aunt. Her father's older sister who went to London a couple of years ago. She is fond of Dong Li Hua the most and she is one of the kindest in the Dong Family.

"Make sure the AI procedure is not complicated for those rookies. Teach them the basics first before applying difficult challenges. Remove those who easily gave up." a familiar deep voice shocked Dong Li Hua.

"Is that...Ying Zheng?!" she thought to herself and turned to the entrance where a young man is. He wore a sunglass that blocks his upper face but from his familiar features, Dong Li Hua is sure he looked the same as Ying Zheng. Other than that, he has a long dark hair tied into a high ponytail like how the eighteen-year-old Ying Zheng always does.

"I know. Fine, I'll give her roses. She's not allergic to them, right? Of course I won't forget the chocolates. I know her well. So, it's a sorry gift? No worries, she's a woman and I know what she likes. Buy all of those, I can do the rest. I can't really tell if she can accept the apology." he chuckled before swiftly handing the phone to one of his guards that are carrying briefcases. The young man didn't notice Dong Li Hua who is staring at him even when he entered a black Porsche. The men in black got in a van instead to tail the Porsche, obviously protecting the young man.

"She?" Dong Li Hua was at loss as she leaned on the wall. A familiar feeling welled up in her heart. When she saw that man, she is sure he is Ying Zheng. However, she heard him talk about a girl. Could it be...he is in a relationship with someone? Dong Li Hua unconsciously gripped her phone when it vibrated.

"Ah! What am I thinking? Dong Li Hua, erase that stupid monkey out of your head!" she scolded herself then answered the phone call. "Auntie, it has been three months since you called."

"Girl, I heard you will meet your mother today?" from the other line, Dong Qinling's voice is quite cold.

"My...mother?" it was like a lightning struck her that she can't process things straight. "No one told me. Dad won't say a thing and brought me here in the airport!"

"Xiao Hua." just as she said that, Dong Xu and the rest arrived outside the entrance. Next to him stood a lady in her mid-thirties with golden blonde hair and a pair of pale blue green eyes that is the same as jade. "Come greet your mother."

"Dad, why is she here?" she frowned, not even daring to do what her father told her to.

"Xiao Hua, she came out of worry. I told you hed condition last week and she wanted to check on you." he stepped forward to calm his daughter. Dong Xu knew well how troublesome it is when she's upset.

"Well, hi." Dong Li Hua pulled out a fake smile. "Miss Basch, Im totally fine. You see, I lived for seventeen years without a mother. It's a proof I won't need you. Maybe you can go back now?"

"Xiao Hua! Watch your words!" Dong Xu warned but he only received a sigh from Dong Li Hua.

"Dad, you know I love you but her- I hate her." with that being said, Dong Li Hua left them.
