I'm in pain and I have been ever since I can remember. it has become a part of me and it is my driving force.
It isn't physical though.
I have always wondered if fate enjoys watching us suffer. Perhaps the Moon Goddess laughs when she pairs us, like a cruel seamstress stitching hearts into patterns that were never meant to align.
Why doesn't she ask for our opinion when pairing us up. You know, like “Damon, would you like to be mated to so and so?” Or such. It would save us from a lot of unnecessary trouble.
Better still, why not let us be like humans where someone is free to love and be with whomever they want to be with?
