Killian I stood there, fists clenched, watching Luca disappear into the trees. His scent lingered in the clearing, mingling with hers, sharp in my nose and sharper in my chest. My wolf bristled, not out of distrust, but because of what I had just seen. Her face buried against him, her tears soaking into his shirt, his arms around her like I wasn’t even alive.
