Amira’s POV
The sudden explosion took us by surprise, and everything happened too fast for us to react.
The fountain and anything close to it were blown to pieces.
“Becca!” Seb shouted while rushing to the debris.
That was when I remembered that Becca had gone to fetch the chip before the sudden explosion.
We all hurried over, but it was clearly too late, as we saw her lying lifelessly in a pool of blood.
Seb took off his coat and covered her body with it.
“Just one of those little chips did do much damage; what will happen if the remaining fourteen explode at the same time?” Seb said with a very serious expression.
“Now that I know how to prevent them from exploding, I can quickly remove the remaining fourteen so that they could be taken far away as quickly as possible,” I said w
