Robin swallowed nervously and glanced back at his sister.
"Does he think you'll need her to protect you?" he asked, and I wasn't sure whether he wanted that to be the reason or not. The alternative was that my father was concerned enough about what Scott would go through that he didn't want Saga anywhere nearby.
"He's old-fashioned, Robin. He doesn't want me and Saga around Scott for the next few days because that's how this always used to work."
My attempt at reassuring him had the opposite effect, and I felt my chest flutter when I saw the panic in Robin's eyes.
"Where will you go? I don't want you to leave without knowing where you will be, and I don't want you to go too far without me. Are you staying near here or going to the city?"
