MORGAN'S POV
I hadn't expected a mini party when I came back.
Confetti exploded in the air, colorful bits of paper and glitter all littered on the floor. A loud should of "Welcome back!" Rang through the air, and I couldn't help the small smile on my lips.
"Thank you, everyone," I said, scanning the faces of my workers.
They looked happy to see me, and while I didn't understand that, I was glad.
"Miss Rosewood! You're back!"
I nodded, flashing a calm smile at Nora. "Yes Nora, thank you. It's good to be back. The meeting is still on in five minutes right?"
Nora nodded. "Yes. We didn't think you'd be discharged anytime soon so we...."
"It's fine," I put a warm hand over her shoulder. "We're going to be fine, okay."
Her shoulder slumped and she exhaled. "Yes, I believe so."
