The Storm Scene 1 – Campus Hallway (Morning) Stella rushes to class, smiling at her phone as she reads Derick’s text. 📱 Derick: “Can’t wait to see you after class. Missed you already.” She blushes and types a quick reply — but just as she’s about to hit send, a girl’s voice stops her. > Lydia: “Hey Stella, you and Derick are close, huh?” Stella: surprised “Uh, yeah… why?” Lydia: “No reason. Just thought you should know… he used to date someone — and she’s back.” Stella: “Back?” Lydia: “Yeah, her name’s Tracy. They were serious. Thought you should know.” Narration: Stella forced a smile, pretending not to care. But her chest tightened. He never told me about her… --- Scene 2 – Basketball Court (Afternoon) Derick finishes practice, laughing with his teammates. Tracy — tall, confident, and beautiful — walks in. > Tracy: “Derick?” Derick: stunned “Tracy? What are you doing here?” Tracy: “Transferred back. I missed this place… and maybe someone in it.” Derick: “Tracy, it’s been months—” Tracy: cuts him off “And I’ve missed you every day.” Stella arrives just in time to see them hug — her smile fading instantly. Narration: The sight burned into her mind — and her heart broke quietly, without a sound. --- Scene 3 – Cafeteria (Later that day) > Stella: quietly “You could’ve told me she was back.” Derick: “I was going to, I swear. I just—” Stella: “Didn’t want me to know?” Derick: “No! I didn’t want you to misunderstand. Tracy and I are over.” Stella: “You didn’t look ‘over’ when she was in your arms.” Silence. Derick looks down, guilt shadowing his face. > Derick: “Stella, please. You mean so much to me. Don’t let this come between us.” Stella: tears welling up “Then prove it. Don’t say it — prove it.” Narration: She walked away, heart heavy, tears threatening to fall. For the first time, love felt painful — confusing — fragile. --- Scene 4 – Stella’s Dorm Room (Night) Rain taps on the window. Stella sits on her bed, scrolling through old messages. 📱 Derick: “I’ll never hurt you, I promise.” Narration: She wanted to believe him. She wanted to text him back. But some promises start to sound empty when trust begins to fade. --- Scene 5 – Campus Balcony (Next Day) Derick waits in the rain, soaked, eyes searching for her. > Derick: whispering to himself “Please, Stella… don’t give up on me.” But Stella doesn’t show up. Narration: Sometimes, love isn’t about how much you care — it’s about how much you can endure. And for Stella and Derick, the storm had just begun. 💔
