The darkness of the room left an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I tried to focus my senses on my environment as I tried to take it all in.
The hand pressed tightly on my lips was foreign, but I could still smell the scent of raspberries. I tried to place the scent on a person, then after a moment of thinking, it hit me.
I wriggled out of the grip and finally freed myself. My vision wasn’t focused fully, but I could see outlines as my senses grew accustomed to the dark.
“What is the meaning of this?” I asked in a harsh tone.
