The sound of the keys woke me up from my sleep, making me open my eyes as I felt two strong arms tightly wrapped around me, pulling me ever so closer into a warm embrace.
Despite the situation, I felt safe in Marcus' arms. Just knowing that he is here with me was enough for me and I knew I could endure anything and everything that was waiting ahead for us to happen.
