The place was loud and chaotic, lights flashing and music thumping through the packed house. Tristan pushed through the crowd, ignoring the curious stares from people who recognized him. His attention was fixed on the one figure slumped on a couch, holding a drink with a loose, unsteady grip. He sighed deeply as he approached Aiden. “Aiden,” he called out, lowering his voice as he bent down to meet Aiden’s gaze. Aiden blinked rapidly, his vision blurred, but he recognized the voice. “Tristan?
