Chapter 7

  Friday morning Deis was at Libary looking for some magic spell books he wanted to check before the class of professor Withmore. 

"Mister Evona I didn't expect to see you of all people here early morning. 

"God morning professor and why is that, am I not allowed to study" "Of course not but you never show interest in any of my classes." 

"I didn't have any interest because I already knew all those things but we are moving with history aren't we and no mage can know everything he is learning his whole life, and there will always be new spell new magic gear, cursed or holy weapon.

 We mages must adapt and that is a lesson that you are trying to teach as true the comparison of new and old past present and future, as for that you have my respect as a teacher and don't doubt that you are a great mage.

"(Could he only pretended to sleep he figure out the lesson now most of the top students needed at least six months.) Anyway, what are you reading about ?"

" It is one of yours I think, magic the  bridge of peace quite an interesting book but it's a mere fantasy magic only leads to pain and suffering."

"I would disagree with you on that Evona magic itself isn't neither good nor evil it is all on us how we use it a mage must be a dignified and honorable person, and full of wisdom.

"Hua you said like I don't possess none of those things yet you forget to mention the most important thing .and what all our students believe is most important power and talent."

"Young mages always think that everything is in power and what do you believe."

"Will and resolve are all that really matters it is true that those who possess the talent and large mana reserves have a bigger chance but that doesn't mean that those who are born weak will always remain weak." 

"interesting response I am looking forward to our next conversation mister Evona."

He left and Deis continue to read the book. "My victories against dragon princes and that knight aren't going in favor of my plan to keep the low profile but I thought that summoning the one the prime beast would catch her attention. but nothing Eleonora must be busy then what do you think Garlond?"

"Well I don't know my lord but Lady Eleonora always does or not do something with purpose I must ask is it a good idea to speak truth connection link here?"

"There is no better option you can't come here without dragon king knowing and opening a dimensional portal to dragon's land is exhausting. 

Ever since I used the Black Sea of Hades I felt my mana reserves are drawn easily I fell weaker and weaker every day that's why I need Eleonora. Never mind the class is about to start I must go."

After the class, Deis and Eritrea went straight to the arena. 

"Are you alright Deis you have been quiet all day ?" "Ya, I am fine so let's begin." She charges at him but he avoids the attack one after another but she comes closer to hit him.  After the first session, they took a break.

"Are you going easy on me today you seem distracted?" "Maybe a little but you are moving faster because of gravity training not much faster but still if you train every day we will win the tag tournament for sure."

"Hey, I want to ask you something about next Sunday if you would like to be my date for the ceremonial ball."

"Ceremonial ball what is that?" "Well it is a celebration for new students from the academy to give us a warm welcoming, so would you like to be my date.

Deis smiled  "why are you laughing did someone else already asked you?"

"HAha no, in fact, I didn't even know that I would be honored to be your date.  "Hello lovebirds 

 I hope I don't interrupt something."

"No not at all Aria, but why are you here anyway. "You do remember what do you said to me last night.

Hello, love birds I hope I don’t interrupt something.

No Not at all but why are you here Aria. You didn’t forget what you told me last night, didn't you?

You told her what Deis.

“No need to be jealous princess it is just a sparring match.

Of course but I didn’t think that you will come today and also don’t you have a bunch of students to teach.

“O that we finished early today I told hem how they should train I am sure thy a mange few minutes without me now draw your sword.

“Well I have a better idea why you don’t fight against Eritrea and if you beat her then you can fight me.

“You are going to test her against strong opponents after only one day of training are you insane.

He just smiled “What do you think Eritrea if Miss Aria agrees It is fine by me.

“Sure why not.

Eritrea was first to strike but Aria saw trught all her attaks and blocked them all with her shield then rotate and striked at Eritrea with one powerful hit she managed to avoid it but she was pushed back.

"What am I doing she clearly saw through all my attacks but I won't lose that easily"

Aria moved her foot and was waiting for Eritrea's next attack. Eritrea throws her knife at Aria she blocked it easily in that same moment Eritrea showed up right behind her and swing with her sword Aria counter it with her sword  Eritrea left the sword and take took the knife and tried to stab Aria but she grabbed her and disable her with one move. 

Eritrea jumped and hit her with their leg she let her and again Eritrea was swinging with her sword Aria blocked the hit at the last second. but she was pushed back a few steps

Aria looked at Eritrea then in Deis he was smiling "I can't believe she manages to lay a strike on me after training two days with him."

Aria now make her move she throw her shield at Eritrea she avoided and then they clashed with their swords for few seconds they were exchanging blows when Aria's shield hit Eritrea from the left side and she fell on the ground when she tried to get up Aria's sword was pointed in her she lost the battle.

"You are not bad, it was an honor to fight with such opponent." "Thank you"

"Sorry, Deis I lost." "Well, I kind of expected you to lose this battle." Eritrea was shocked "You what then why even begin the fight?"

"Well it would be a waste not to, this was an opportunity for you to fight with a strong opponent and see where you are."

"I won Evona now you owe me a match." "Indeed I do."

"Then let's start." And she took battle position Deis made another step and Arias weapons were blown away and he was holding a knife on her throat. 

"I won." Both Eritrea and Aria didn't even saw him move "When did you, how ?"

He put the knife down "So I hope you all learned your lessons. 

"AaAAAAaaaaa" Scream comes from the city Eritrea and Aria look at east, "I think that wherefrom voice came common let's go."

When they look back Deis was gone He was in front of a body of young boy who was laying on the ground.
