Moxie's POV
A week later
"We won!!!" One d my teammate screamed and every cheered, gathering around each other and hugging each other. Being on the girls hockeys team had been so amazing. I had been showered with praises since the day I joined and now today, we had just won one of our most important matches.
I felt so ecstatic that I couldn't help but jump and celebrate as well.
“You were amazing out there.” I turned at the voice, still pulling off my gloves. One of my teammates grinned at me, clearly still riding the adrenaline. “Those last two plays were absolutely insane, Moxie.” She said.
“I got lucky,” I replied, though I knew that wasn’t entirely true.
“Don’t be modest. You carried us.”
