“Someone is watching over us,” Bill proclaimed when he saw the truck from the rental company pull up in front of the B&B, the day before Thanksgiving. Two burly men got out, one of them coming up, when Bill stepped onto the porch, to ask where he wanted the tables. When he showed them, they brought them in and set them up—five square ones, and a long one that would be used for the food. I hope it’s big enough. With what we have planned…He’d worry about that the following morning. When the men left, Bill and Pete moved the chairs and sofas to the side of the room before putting the tables in place.
