Red shadow pack...

Alpha David disconnected the call and said, “Alpha king has that girl in his pack and he is not going to let her go until they find the truth behind Princess Charlotte’s attack”.

Mason’s fists clenched tightly to his side. He is regretting leaving her alone in that storeroom. If he had stayed there instead of going to see Alpha King off, she wouldn’t have ran away.

When he found out that she has ran away from the pack, he tried investigating, even threatened the other omega maids to find out if anyone helped her in running away or saw her escaping but couldn’t find anything.

He is just so frustrated right now. He waited for so long, hid the desires he had towards her for almost past six years.

But now his temptation is getting out of control. He wants her. He needs to have her. He wants to be buried deep inside her and f**k her senseless until he and his beast is satisfied.

“See I told you, that girl is crazy. First she ran away after hurting me and now the princess of other kingdom. She deserves to die.” Laura said.

Mason’s angry gaze averted to her and she instantly shut her mouth.

“But why would she hurt you? I questioned few other omegas but everyone said that she was a good girl. Never disobeyed anyone and always did her work diligently” Alpha David asked.

“She might have some old grudge against me” Laura answered.

“Well, whatever the case may be. We can’t do anything about it now. We can’t go against Alpha King, so just forget about her for now and focus on tomorrow’s ceremony” Alpha David said.

Mason is going to take over the position of Alpha tomorrow.

Both Mason and Laura came out of the office. As soon as they were out, Mason grabbed Laura’s arm in a tight grip and started dragging her towards her room.

He locked the door from inside and shoved her away as he asked in his menacing tone, “Why did you spread the false rumours that she hurt you and ran away? Now even if she comes back to pack, I won’t be able to have her.”

Laura scoffed at his words and folded her arms around her chest and said, “You should have thought about it before pouncing on her like a hungry animal. Then I wouldn’t have done it”.

He snarled at her face and next second a loud echo was heard in the room. He slapped her.

Grabbing her hairs in fist he started “Watch your mouth you b**ch. You might be my chosen mate and future Luna of this pack, but I don’t take sh*t from nobody. You got that title just because I wanted a high rank wolf beside me while ruling my pack”

“So don’t flatter yourself too much. Or else it won’t be long that I will rip you off of that title that you like to misuse so much. And stop getting in my ways or else consequences aren’t going to be bearable, Understood?”

And she instantly nodded her head. He jerked her away from himself and said, “About taking her to my bed and devouring her to my heart’s content, I am definitely going to do it” he was dead serious.

“I want her to fulfill my desires which you couldn’t quite do well. No one will be able to stop me from doing that, not even Alpha King”

Saying this he walked out of her room. As he went out Laura spat the blood from her mouth and ran her hands through her hairs, trying to smother them.

Her eyes were cold but full of determination when she mumbled to herself, “I am going to kill her before that day comes”.

Two days later

Hazel’s POV

I am currently in the hallway, making my way towards the Alpha King’s room. I saw few of the other omegas who were busy in doing their work.

I greeted them with a smile and I was grateful that everyone reciprocated my gestures.

It’s been two days since Alpha King brought me here and to be honest, staying here feels good as of now. It’s much better than how it was in red shadow pack.

Yes I have started working here in the palace as maid and this work was never this satisfying before when I used to live in red shadow pack.

No insults, no abuse, no bullying, you don’t have to endure anything like that here in this palace. Just focus on your work, do your work diligently and there is going to be no problem.

I am missing my friend Mia, though. I want to meet her, make sure that she is doing okay and that she didn’t get caught after helping me run away. But I can’t go there, not after what I had to go through.

At first when Alpha King brought me here, I was scared. I thought he will either kill me thinking I can be threat to his people, after seeing me using my ability.

Or he will try to misuse my power for his benefit. But he is really a kind person, I have realized.

He was curious and wanted to ask so many questions to me about my ability and me in general, I could see it in his eyes. But he didn’t ask much, for which I was thankful.

It’s not like, I have something to hide or any other secrets. But even I don’t know many things about my ability, like why do I have this ability, how I got it, or anything else.

I only know that I found out about this ability when I was seventeen. I had just shifted for the first time when I saw a person who was badly injured, just like how I found Princess Charlotte.

But that person hasn’t lost his consciousness yet. I tried to get some help so that he can be saved but no one was there who could help him.

When I returned, he was already dead and I revived him accidentally. So only two of us knew about me having this ability until two days ago.

Well, now Alpha King and his men also found out about that.

Two days ago after getting confirmation from Princess Charlotte, Alpha King gave me an offer.

He asked me if I would like to stay here as a pack member. He said that he would let me work here as maid, just like how I used to work in red shadow pack.

He informed me that my previous pack was still searching for me and as soon as they get a hold of me they are going to punish me for hurting their future Luna.

And who else can know better than me, what kind of punishment I am going to get if I ever step my foot in that pack.

He also said that he will talk to them and make up an excuse so that they stop looking for me and I can stay here peacefully, without fearing that they will come anytime and ruin my life again.

He said he doesn’t really trust me about what I told him that Mason did to me. But still he didn’t want to take any risk and sent me back, until he finds the whole truth himself.

He warned me saying he will be keeping an eye on me and if I ever try to harm his people or do something which will put others in danger, he is going to punish me himself.

At first I doubted Alpha King’s intentions but when he explained how it is going to be beneficial for me and it’s a best choice that I can make at this moment.

Because he was right. It is really difficult for a lone wolf or rogues to survive out there.

When I left my pack, I had also thought about that. I knew it will be difficult task for me to live on my own. I might get killed anytime and no one will even find out about my death.

So when he proposed such an offer, I couldn’t deny it. And actually I am really thankful as well.

So I accepted his offer and started working as maid in here. And the duty which has been assigned to me is cleaning palace and royal pack.

Royal pack is where his pack members live and palace is for Royal family.

I am used to doing this kind of work, so it is not a big deal for me. If fact I am really happy. The other omegas here are very nice and friendly.

I have even become close with one of them. Her name is Anna. She is twenty four, a year older than me. She reminds me of Mia.

I reached Alpha King’s room. I am here to clean his room. He is not present here right now so I can do my work while being more focused.

It is really difficult for me to be around him. I don’t know why but I feel these different kind of emotions which are very unfamiliar for me, whenever I am around him.

He has this aura around him which just intimidates me a lot.

It shocks me too. Because I was never a kind of person who gets intimidated easily, at least not when other person is not even looking at me.

I feel weird around him and even my wolf Hannah behaves strangely when he is in our eye’s range. That is why I try to avoid going in front of him, as much as possible.

In this short period of time I have realized that he is really, sensible, fair and righteous Alpha King. But I have also heard he can be the most ruthless and dangerous person if someone messes with him or his loved ones.

I saw the royal family today for the first time when everyone gathered in the dining room to have their breakfast. They were not in palace for past two days, meaning since the day I came here.

I heard that they were visiting one of the pack in our kingdom, to attend a function. They returned yesterday night.

I still haven’t seen Alpha King’s younger sister Princess Rose yet. She didn’t come down to have breakfast with her family.

‘Did something happen?’ I was wondering.

Because the mood in the palace today feels different. The atmosphere around here feels more heavy today. Really unusual from the past two day’s atmosphere.

It feels as if something is about to happen. Everyone looks busy at the same time they seem angry at something, or someone, I don’t know.

I saw Alpha King in the morning when I was cleaning the dining room before their breakfast, he looked angry too. Unlike his usual kind and warm self.

I decided to push all the thoughts away from my mind and focus on my work.

My eyes fell on my left hand which I had cut with the dagger two days ago, it hasn’t healed yet.

Hannah is not able to heal the wounds which I put on myself in order to revive someone.

Last time when I had revived someone from the death, my injury took almost three to four days to heal completely.

Maybe it’s going to take that much time around this time too. It’s strange I know but I don’t know why it happens.

I was almost done with my work when suddenly I started feeling very uneasy.

‘Something bad is going to happen’ this is the kind of feeling which is starting to grip my insides.

I completed my work while trying to push that feeling away. After completing the cleaning, I started making my way downstairs when suddenly a very familiar scent hit my nose.

I have been missing this scent, I have been missing him so much.

I quickly came running and made my way towards the living room and there my eyes fell on him.

The feeling of being at home after a very long time, came rushing to me.

My eyes started tearing up upon seeing a familiar face. Not only familiar but the face of someone who has always been there for me as a good friend.

The person who loves me unconditionally. My first and only love.

‘Alpha Darren'.

I wanted to go to him and cry my heart out. Letting all the pain out in front of him but the mood here seems very serious.

I roamed my eyes around and saw that he is here with his Beta and Gamma.

Alpha King’s beta, gamma and his bodyguard are also present here in the room. Alpha King’s mother, his sister whose name I found is Rebecca and her husband Louis are also sitting on the couch.

Then my eyes fell on Alpha King’s broad and masculine back. I am standing behind him right now.

By the way how his body is stiff and the aura around him, he looks very angry at this moment.

‘But towards whom this anger of his is directed?'

My eyes widened when I realized that his anger is directed towards Alpha Darren.

‘But why?’
