He marked me

Hazel’s POV

I was standing there glued to my place not being able to move.

Alpha Darren was sitting on the couch in front of my eyes and tears filled in my eyes as soon as I saw him.

He must have felt my gaze on him or scented me as he lifted his eyes and looked in my direction. Our eyes met and his mouth dropped open to see me here.

Soon the surprise got replaced by concern as he whispered my name under his breath. But everyone present in the room heard him because of their wolf ears. Everyone turned around to look at me.

That’s when Alpha King turned around and my eyes met with his green ones. My heart thumped in my chest due to fear when I saw anger in his eyes.

He is looking very angry. I looked around and I realised everyone was angry. Somehow it felt like they were angry at me.

‘But why?’

Alpha Darren got up from the place, “Oh my god Hazel, what are you doing here?” he sounded worried when he asked. He was about to walk in my direction when Alpha King commanded in his deep cold voice.

“Take a seat Alpha Darren” and I flinched at his tone. I could not see his expressions when he said that because again his back is facing me. But I knew he must be looking dangerous and dominating.

Because when Alpha Darren’s eyes fell on him, he instantly obeyed and sat down.

“You come here” Alpha King said in dangerous cold tone without turning around but I knew he said it to me. So I quickly obeyed and walked in his direction. I stood beside him waiting for his next command but it never came.

He didn’t even look at my face. His eyes were fixed on Alpha Darren. He was glaring at him. On the other hand I could feel Alpha Darren’s gaze on me. But I didn’t dare look in his direction.

‘He is making Alpha King angry. He should be looking at Alpha King while talking to him, why is staring at my face? It may seem like disrespect to Alpha King’

I came out of my thoughts when Alpha King’s dominating voice fell on my ears.

“Is she the one that you love?” Alpha King tried asking in calm tone but I could clearly hear the anger in his voice.

“Yes she is” Alpha Darren said without any hesitation and it was not shocking for me. I know it already. Even I love him but I know I can’t confess it in front of him.

‘Why are they talking about me right now? Why is Alpha King asking such a question to him? What’s going on?’

But what shocked me was Alpha King Adrian’s next words when he said with gritted teeth, “So she is the reason why you don’t want to accept my sister as your mate. You want to reject my sister because of her?”.

My eyes widened and this time I averted my gaze and looked at Alpha Darren who was already staring at my face.

“What?” a small whisper left my mouth.

‘Alpha Darren is mated with Princess Rose. And he wants to reject her, for me. Oh no, please Alpha Darren don’t do this. Please deny it' I was praying in my mind.

I saw determination in Alpha Darren’s eyes and it kind of scared me. Within few days of my stay in Royal pack house I have found out that Alpha King loves his sister Rose a lot.

“I love Hazel Alpha King and she is the only woman who will always be in my heart” Alpha Darren said causing my heartbeat to increase due to fear.

A low growl left from Alpha King’s mouth and if I was his mate I would have thought it was kind of possessive. But this growl of his scared me.

I moved my eyes to look at Alpha King who looked like he wanted to kill someone at this moment.

The fear gripped my heart when I saw the flash of golden and silver appearing and disappearing in his eyes.

It means his wolf wants to take control and that scared me even more. Because his wolf is more dangerous and ruthless than him.

Alpha King got up from the couch standing on his feet. My head was bowed in fear. Everyone present in the room also got up from their seats to show respect.

My heart was drumming loudly in my ears, my palms were clammy and it felt like something bad is about to happen.

Alpha King is definitely going to punish me for ruining his sister’s life.

Suddenly his hand got wrapped around my waist and he pulled me closer with a jerk causing my body to collide with his hard one.

A low gasp of surprise left from my mouth and I lifted my eyes up to find him already staring down at me.

The beating of my heart accelerated even more and I am sure he must be able to hear it beating so erratically.

“I am letting you go without any punishment Alpha Darren because you are unaware of the fact…” he said staring right into my eyes and I gulped visibly.

Suddenly a small smirk made its way to his lips making me confused. He averted his eyes and looked directly into Alpha Darren’s eyes and said

“You are unaware of the fact that the girl you claim to love is my woman. She is mine…” he paused as his eyes again met with my shocked ones and he continued.

“Only Mine”.

Saying this he leaned closer, burying his face in the crook of my neck. I was so shocked to even move until I felt him lick my neck where my mate is supposed to mark me. My body shivered at his action.

I realized what he was trying to do and it made me terrified. My heart started pounding in my chest due to fear.

But before I could stop him, I felt him digging his canines in my neck and a scream left my mouth when I felt his canines digging deeper and deeper into my flesh.

My hold on his biceps became tighter. I felt my nails digging into his flesh but it felt like it wasn’t affecting him. He just dug his canines deeper and again a painful scream left my mouth. Tears were flowing from my eyes.

‘He Marked Me, against my will’.

Alpha King pulled away from my neck but not before licking my blood with his tongue seductively.

I wanted to get away from him but he didn’t let me go and kept holding me close to his chest.

I wanted to shout at him for marking me. It was my mate’s right. How can he do this to me? I was crying while holding him.

I knew he has marked me to show it to Alpha Darren. He wants him to forget about me and accept his sister as his mate.

But why did he have to do it to me? Why did he have to use me in such a way? Is it because I am an omega? Just because I am a lower rank wolf I don’t have right to find my own mate and get marked by him?

Shouldn’t he have been considerate about my emotions too? I want to scream these questions out and want him to give me the answers. I want to shout that I won’t let him treat me like this.

But I couldn’t. Suddenly the pain that I have been feeling in my heart for past few days, to be precise since the day of Alpha summit in red shadow pack, intensified.

I had to bite my lips to stop myself from whimpering out. The pain was hard to bear, it felt like someone is piercing my heart with a knife.

I started feeling dizzy as my eyes started dropping. But I can’t lose my consciousness now. I shook my head a little to keep myself awake.

My teary eyes roamed around and everyone had a look of disgust on their faces. Of course they think of me as some w***e who is trying to get in between their princess and her mate.

But no one even asked me anything. Not even gave me any chance to explain myself. They just made their own pre conceptions about me and are now hating me with those prejudice in their minds.

My teary eyes then met with Alpha Darren and he also had tears in his eyes. He looked broken, as if someone has taken and destroyed his everything.

He started blabbering in broken voice, “No… it can’t be. How can you Alpha King? You can’t have her… I love…” he was cut off when Alpha King’s menacing voice boomed in the silent room.

“Watch your words Alpha Darren, You are talking about your Alpha King’s woman. And I would suggest you to lower your eyes and stop staring at her if you don’t want me to pull those eyeballs of yours out of their sockets” he threatened.

Alpha Darren’s wolf submitted instantly. But I saw him clenching his fists tight to his side.

My heart pained to see him in such a condition. I wanted to comfort him like how he used to do whenever I felt down.

My eyes were still fixed on Alpha Darren when I felt Alpha King’s hold tightening around my waist, almost painfully.

I whimpered in pain and lifted my eyes up to look at him and found him glaring down at me. He didn’t like me staring at Alpha Darren. I didn’t look in his direction again.

“Here is what you have to do Alpha Darren. You will accept my sister as your mate and take her to your pack. You will take care of her and never betray her” Alpha King said.

“That is not possible Alpha King. You marking her in front of my eyes doesn’t change anything. She is still the only one I love with my whole heart” Alpha Darren said.

Alpha King growled dangerously upon hearing his words and I am sure this time it really sounded very possessive.

I flinched against his body. Everyone in the room bowed their heads in fear.

“It is the last time I am letting you go without any punishment Alpha Darren. But if I ever, ever hear you say those words about this girl, I will rip your head off of your body” he threatened lowly.

“Why do you want to tie your sister with a man who can’t even love her? Her life will be destroyed if she goes with me” Alpha Darren tried to explain his point.

“Nothing of that sort should ever happen with my sister, Alpha Darren. You will keep her happy. If I ever find out that you are hurting my sister or that she is in pain because of you…” Alpha King paused.

As he looked down at me. I lifted my eyes to stare into his green orbs and he continued

“This girl will have to bear ten times as much pain as you give to my sister. And no one will be able to stop me then. So you better keep my sister happy” Alpha King averted his gaze from me but my heart had already been dropped in the pit of my stomach.

‘Is he going to keep me as a hostage to blackmail Alpha Darren?’ This doesn’t sound good, not at all.

“You marked her just so that you can threaten me, didn’t you?” Alpha Darren asked with gritted teeth.

“If I were you, I would have watched my tone Alpha Darren. I am still your Alpha King and I don’t appreciate disrespect” He grated out.

But Alpha Darren didn’t stop glaring at him. Alpha King’s hold tightened even more around me and I whimpered in pain again, as more tears started rolling down my eyes.

Alpha Darren instantly bowed his head and said in broken voice, “I apologize for my behaviour. I will do as you said but please stop hurting her”.

Instead of feeling happy I saw some different kind of emotions flash in Alpha King’s eyes as his hold around me became more possessive.

He looked jealous. ‘That is not possible Hazel, you are misunderstanding' I told myself.

“You will not tell me, how I should be treating my woman” Alpha King snarled.

Then he looked at his man and said, “Harry, take her to my room”.

His looked down at me and said, “Wait for me there”. The look in his eyes was a clear warning that ‘Try disobeying me'.

And I couldn’t. I nodded my head and started following Harry on my trembling legs.

I entered into the room and Harry locked the door from outside. My legs couldn’t take it anymore and I fell on the floor breaking down completely.

Crying over my destiny, my messed up fate, my ruined life. I thought that I had escaped my miseries after running away from Red shadow pack.

But it seems like that my life is going to take the worst turn from here on.

Because I wasn’t marked by my mate, I wasn’t marked because of love. I have been marked because of anger and by the person who is not even my mate.

Will I ever be able to escape him, escape this unwanted bond? Or is it going to become my ill fate?
