The Conference: part two

Third person POV Everyone around the table listened intently to the High-Elf. "Like how Fae are split into two, Elves are split too. Myself and the Blood Elves are the ones that primarily worship Angharradh. In our lore, she is described to be a beautiful Goddess with neon-turquoise eyes, white hair down to her ankles and was always draped in golden jewellery. She wielded a bow made of moonlight. The lore states that she was the Elven Goddess of the moon as well as fertility in many different aspects from blessing these lands and helping crops grow to blessing women and men alike with fertility. She was also a fierce warrior who was capable of showing both ruthlessness and mercy. Other than a bow, it is said she had a red sword made of her own blood that shone brilliantly. She was wise and offered counsel and guidance to all, not just Elves. Angharradh represents light, the moon and warriors, hence why I, the only light elf and the Blood Elves primarily worship her. In fact..." The woman reached to her face to remove the blindfold from her eyes and let it fall, slowly opening her eyelids. There were shocked gasps in the room and Lily quickly scrambled to her feet "My goodness! You look just like Aradia! If your eyes were a brighter blue, I'd think you were her mother!" The High-Elf chuckled as Lily fell back into her chair, gripping her husband's arm "Then it seems my thoughts were correct. Your daughter is the reincarnation of Angharradh. My great-great-grandparents worshipped her so diligently and with such love that when my great-great-grandmother was pregnant, Angharradh blessed her and the child. My great-grandmother was born with the same features and so was my grandmother and my mother and I. The sons in our family looked much more like Angharradh's brother." Quinn narrowed his eyes "Let me guess; White hair and golden eyes?" Talane chucked "Close. White hair and yellow eyes. We do not have divinity and as such, turquoise and golden eyes were something unattainable for anyone else. Myself and the Blood Elves are the only ones with truly white hair. The only ones eligible to be High Elves are the women in my bloodline and the mantle of Lord has always been passed to women in the Blood Elves. I'll cover Erevan next, Angharradh's younger twin brother. We've already covered that he had white hair and golden eyes. Erevan is primarily worshipped by the Dark Elves and the Night Elves. Erevan was known to be mischievous, energetic, and free-spirited. He loved to play pranks and loved his sister very much. He's the one that gifted her so much gold jewellery. He had dominion over darkness, winter and all types of cold and shadows. He blessed the bloodline of his most beloved worshipers who were also his best friends. They would be the ancestors of Ovion, who you can see has yellow eyes as well as the ancestors of Kavasin, who Erevan blessed with darkness and since then, their bloodline has had black hair." The Lord of the Half-Elves shifted uncomfortably, Kavasin sneering when he saw this. Talane sighed and gave Kavasin a warning. "Apologies...We're about to get into the darker side of our history. Erevan one day convinced his sister to disguise themselves so that they could go and play in the human world. Not wanting her brother to go alone, Angharradh agreed. She fell in love at first sight with a hard-working man with blonde hair and green eyes. He was a very beautiful man, for a human, that is. Every day, Angharradh snuck to the place where she saw the man and talked to him. Eventually, he fell in love too. They married the human way and a few years afterwards, when Angharradh discovered she was pregnant, she knew that she needed to tell her husband the truth. Of course, he was shocked. His wife was a literal Elven Goddess. The man was elated and together, they had a son - Anvara. It was supposed to be a very heartwarming story, but gradually, Angharradh's husband grew greedy and planned to use their son to usurp her powers. It was fortunate that Angharradh realised what was happening. When their son was ten, Angharradh blessed him secretly with a speck of her divinity, granting him semi-immortality. She warned him of his father's plan and if anything happened to her, Anvara must tell his Uncle Erevan immediately. Unfortunately...It was just a week later that Angharradh was killed by a weapon unknown to us to this day. It disintegrated when used. The husband was killed by Erevan when Anvara did as his mother told him. Anvara was the only one of his kind - A Half-Elf. So, using the divinity his mother gave him, he created more Half-Elves and married one of them. Thelvara here is Anvara's daughter, born to his 9th wife. After all, he outlived all of his wives and none of them ever had children. Thanks to Angharradh's divinity, Anvara's bloodline will live a very long time. Anvara only recently died 70 years ago. He was hundreds of thousands of years old. Thelvara was born when her mother was one hundred and seven, so quite old." Gamma Evan raised his eyebrows "Incredible. You're the granddaughter of a literal Goddess." Thelvara smiled, full of pride "Yes! My grandmother was the most beautiful woman in the entire world. My father often showed me portraits that had been painted of her. Would you like to see it?" We all nodded and the girl quickly stood up, exiting the camera for a few minutes but returning with a large painting of a woman that looked as if she was Aradia from the future. Quinn stood up and pulled his phone out of his pocket, turning it around to face the screen. On it, was a picture of Aradia smiling in a pale-yellow sundress and a sunflower in her hair. Thelvara and the other Elves lit up as Thelvara got as close as possible "Grandma! It's really her!" Lilly huffed and puffed like a child "Gah! Why are you calling my seven-year-old daughter grandma?! She's too young for all of that!" Thelvara apologised and sat down, saying that Aradia really was the reincarnation of her grandmother. She asked for a picture of Erebus too and so, Lily showed her. Ovion's eyes sparkled as he showed off a picture of Erevan inside of a locket around his neck. They were the same people. Noris shifted in his seat, "So we've confirmed a connection to the Elves, now it's-" Queen Onelya shook her head "No need. I'm sure we've all confirmed. In one way or another, these children related to us." King Quill nodded and pulled out a portrait of the Fae twins side by side, confirming yet again another connection. King Nakkel cleared his throat "For us, we only have one creator but he does have a sister. Hodervakr is the creator of Dwarves. He wasn't a Dwarf himself, but he was the best artisan the Dwarven race ever had. He made several legendary weapons and armour. But he spent most of his time crafting fine jewellery and metal artworks for his beloved sister, Angluna. She was the Creator of the Barbarians. The Dwarves and Barbarians have had a very long, deep relationship because of our creators being twins. We're practically cousin Clans. Hodervakr was the master behind all of Angluna's armour and weapons except for the bow she had made of moonlight. Hodervakr crafted using metal infused with his own darkness and instead of heat, he used cold. He was known to be a very affectionate and masterful God. Very lively and had lots of energy, friendly to all. One day, he just disappeared. It wasn't recorded what he looked like excited for his silver-white hair like silk and the fact he was the only one with dominion over shadows, darkness and the winter and cold. So the only way we'll know is if young Erebus can demonstrate his abilities." Gulvdan's deep voice sounded out immediately after. "Mm. Angluna was our creator. She was a superior warrior. No Barbarian has ever matched up to her prowess. No matter her stature or the skills of her opponent, she always came out on top. She was skilled with all kinds of weapons and was challenged in bare-fist fighting often. We don't know much about her appearance other than he turquoise eyes and the fact she was the only being able to manifest a bow of moonlight and master any weapon she touched without prior training." Gulvdan folded his arms and Noris nodded. Afterwards, Queen Onelya spoke up "Yes, our creator was a God with a twin sister as well. Euron created Demons from darkness, wanting to have people he related to. After all, he was the only being who could manipulate such abilities. However, in the beginning, they were just mindless beings. It was Euron's sister, Arlith, who gave the beings the ability to be individuals who could think and act for themselves. She also blessed them with a small portion of Light so that they did not have to live in Darkness. Euron was thrilled and very thankful for Arlith's gift. So much so, that when Arlith created the Vampires, he blessed them with Darkness. So, much like Dwarves and Barbarians, Demons and Vampires and also practically cousin Clans. Except, what hasn't been mentioned in any other lore yet is that Euron and Arlith had an older brother, Agamahon. He was murdered by a jealous lover and in their grief, Euron and Arlith committed suicide." Queen Claudia nodded, confirming these events. They both also confirmed their appearance and mentioned that their older brother had black hair, but that's all they knew. King Tatoniel, who had been silent all this time, spoke up. "Our Goddess is Arafinel. Angels were created from light, to uphold justice and be protectors. The reality of our existence is that we were created to protect her brother, Hanuriel. It was said that despite his abilities, he was just very happy and lively, while also being timid and much weaker than Arafinel. Due to upholding justice daily, it wasn't all of the time that Arafinel could protect her brother. Arafinel was killed by a traitor that she was prosecuting and the once timid Hanuriel shrouded the world in darkness and then imploded. It took the Angels a long time to cleanse the world with Arafinel's blessing of light. The traitor that killed her was a Demi-God, too." Conrad furrowed his brows "It appears some of you know more lore than others, is that right?" King Tatoniel nodded "We weren't all created at the same time. Some of us date back so long that it's been blurred and twisted over the years. Angels, for example, were among the first creatures to be created." Queen Latla nodded "Indeed. Dragons were created by Aleficenna and her brother, Harithroa. However, their older brother, Apephyruss blessed Dragons with fire. As far as we're aware, we're the only ones that carry the blessing of all three siblings. It's probably why Dragons are most often hailed as blessed, majestic creatures that are known to be both merciful and ruthless. We don't know what happened to our creators, but we do know that our blood catches fire when mixed with the blood of our creators. So in our case, we'll need to see the children in person." Noris nodded with a sigh. They'd all need to meet in person anyway, they were just unsure as to how they would go about it in secret. Next, everyone looked at King Diagda. He smiled gently "Druids were created from light, much like angels. However, we were also created using elements of nature and fertility as well. Our Goddess, Amara, is quite like what the others have said. But she loved nature and greatly respected animals and the outdoors. She loved to walk barefoot in grass and dirt and be one with wind and water. Amara did indeed have a sibling, but we Druids don't know anything about the sibling. Amara was well known for being a powerful healer and loved to revive withering plants and dying nature. She was a very kind soul. Druids don't know the appearance of Amara, either. Nothing at all. Just her abilities." Quinn rubbed his face in his hands as the Fae King again told their history to everyone in the room. Lily stood up "Alright...Well then...Dia, Ere, you can come in, darlings!" the door opened and behold...
