CHAPTER TWENTY SIX
Edmund stood beneath the boughs of the kapoc tree wondering what would happen next. He’d followed through with Mistress Obsidian’s orders to inject Oliver with a virus but she had not explained what would happen once he’d done it. She still had to give him the cure for Esther, and some praise for his brave actions wouldn’t go amiss.
He decided to head back toward the bathroom to see if Mistress Obsidian would appear for him again.
