@Randomthoughts: "An apple a day keeps anyone away, if you throw it hard enough."  >>>>>>>  Earth Realm “Hello, My name is Ruby. I’m an Alcoholic but-“I paused with a scowl on my face. Right now I stood in front of some humans gathered for an AA meeting. Being forced by my big brother Jake the current Vampire King to attend one.   This was ridiculous and I felt so humiliated as a Vampire female. But I would make my brother regret his Royal order. I first looked to my side at one of my Vampire Royal guards, the head guard Simo. He was dressed smartly in a black suit and looking like a man in black because of his attire.  Upon seeing the look of mischief now in my eyes, his own immediately widened as he realized what I was about to do. He first tried shaking his head rapidly as if that would convince me to not do what I was about to do.  Seeing that I was not relenting and how a smirk was now on my face,  my head guard quickly touched his earpiece instead, calling in for back up. And I knew soon, the back up of my other ten ‘babysitters’ would burst in. I had to act fast. “But I will tell you all something unbelievable. I Am Also…A Vampire.” I proclaimed adjusting my tone to sound mysterious and finally finishing my sentence. The humans instead gave me looks thinking that maybe I was high on something. “I can prove it!” I declared excitedly, with a confident smile. “I have sharp pointy teeth,” I said flashing them my fangs with a dramatic snarl. “Look at the color of my eyes,” I continued while removing my contacts to show them my real blood Red eyes. “Miss Hearten, I think you should sit down- “The leader of the AA meeting, A stern-looking woman in glasses quickly said while standing up to come and make me sit down. I was sure she was now regretting having made me stand up to tell my ‘story’. But just as she reached me, I blurred away revealing to them all my supernatural Vampire speed. Making sure to greatly exaggerate my movements. "She speaks the truth!" Shocked gasps immediately filled the room, “I told ya I was a Vampire, didn’t I? And as for being here, well Vampires can get drunk too if I drink five times the amount you ordinary humans consume.” I stated with a troublesome smirk as they all stared at me with wide astonished eyes. I blurred again to the other side of the wall so they could know that their eyes were really not playing tricks on them.  Once I was sure that they all now really believed I was a Vampire, I continued my act of mischief. “Now I am going to kill you all and drink za blood,” I said imitating this fake vampire actor I had once seen on Human TVs.  As a final touch for my little show, I impulsively punched the wall right next to me. Resulting in a loud booming sound as it cracked from my Vampire strength. Leaving a huge hole showing through the other next room. As soon as I did that, I first stared at my nails doing a countdown in my head. And just as expected the whole room erupted into chaos. “She wants to kill us!” Screams filled the now chaotic room. I actually only drank animal blood but oh well, they did not need to know that and my scare tactic was working. My backup bodyguards arrived and closed all exits preventing any humans from leaving. Humans were not allowed to know of the existence of Vampires or other supernatural creatures, And right now, they all had to have their memories wiped of my scene. Just as I had planned my guards immediately got busy trying to control the crowd of humans and use compulsion on them to forget I was a vampire.  My troublesome head guard Simo too, even took his eyes off me to contain the chaos. Noticing that, I quickly used my powers to become invisible. A power most Royal Vampires with Royal blood possessed. I then sneaked out of that place through the wall opening where I had punched, leaving my babysitters behind. I knew my brother was going to be pissed that I had escaped my guards again! “Serves him right,” I thought to myself while thinking of how overprotective Jake my brother was. I was a grown-ass woman and allowed to mess up my life with heavy drinking if I wanted to! It's not like it would kill me, I was a freakin Vampire. I knew he was just a worried big brother knowing how much the death of our parents had affected me. I blamed myself for both their deaths and a lot of others. Stuck in endless guilt. Our father the previous Vampire King died twenty years ago during the Scarlet war and just last month our mother had also died. Unable to live anymore without her soulmate, she had snapped and lost control then ended up being killed by Vampire hunters for it. And now we were at war with the Vampire Hunters, with my brother Jake wanting justice from them for killing an Elite Royal Vampire. But I knew it was mostly because it was our mother. He was grieving differently from me. Getting revenge was his own way of dealing. Even his soulmate and the current Vampire Queen Sonia had tried to reason with him to make a truce with the Vampire hunters but my brother refused. And the Vampire Hunters led by the Von Blazes family as done through their hunter generations, were fiercely fighting back and not backing down too.   Another reason why Jake had all these overwhelming guards following me. My safety. Still, everything happening was all my fault and why I did not care if I had to die from Vampire hunters. I was the root of the problem. All because of what I did on some terrible night to piss off one woman so much that she went to extremes to get her revenge.  The Scarlet war and my people almost going to extinction would never have happened if it was not for me. My father would never have died and my mother would still be alive and happy too, living their long immortal lives. Right now, I wished I had never been born.  That I was never Ruby the Vampire Princess. “I need a drink,” I said to myself with a sad sigh not wanting to continue thinking depressing thoughts like this. I grieved differently from my brother. And for me, my go-to relief from my messed-up immortal life was my drink. I wanted to escape and be lost in my addiction instead. Once I was very far away having blurred with my Vampire speed, I finally stopped in some alley and became visible again. I took off my jeans and a baggy t-shirt which I had worn so my head guard Simo would not suspect anything. And under the shirt, I secretly had a mini dress on. I quickly pulled it down fulfilling my need for a club outfit. I had to be quick before my guards would catch up to me. I had nice legs so it was not a problem having them exposed by the short dress. “Let’s exchange shoes,” I said using compulsion to this human girl. One who had just tried to pass by only to be grabbed by me into the Alley. With now hypnotized eyes, she nodded and took off her heels which matched my dress. I gave her my boots and quickly put the classy heels on. We were the same shoe size. Yeah, I should feel bad but the nearby club only allowed you in if you wore heels. And I did not have the energy to compel the whole staff in the club to leave me be in my flat boots. Once done, with my club outfit complete and my golden curled hair pulled down. I felt like a teenager sneaking out. I then walked out of the alley to the club entrance. I ignored the catcalls that human males were now throwing my way. For I guess being a Vampire, my features and beauty were enhanced to them. I was not here for men but for my beloved drink! After passing by the bouncer and once inside, I headed straight for the bar after swaying my hips a little to the music. “Hello miss, what can I get you,” The bartender asked coming to serve me and throwing me a flashy smile. “Time to get wasted and forget everything,” I thought with my own delighted smile too, looking forward to a night of just forgetting everything and more recklessness. Who knows what other mischiefs my drunken self would end up in. With my brother having to clean it up and add more Vampire guards the next day to come...as always.
