Vito
"How's everything going?" I asked Antonio.
"Good, Faron went underground again," Antonio replied.
"Hiding like the cockroach he is," I said.
"He is afraid to fight you head-on," Antonio said. "The cops came by the house again."
"Was that detective there?" I asked.
"Yes, he went in the house," Antonio said. I quickly grabbed my jacket and began to head to the door.
"It is not her fault."
"She let him in," I said harshly.
"Have a drink before you go," Antonio offered.
"No, I am going home," I wanted to deal with Celina now.
"I got a call from Carlos, he needs you to look over some paperwork," Antonio told me.
"I don't care," I responded.
"One drink, he talks and you sign," Antonio continued with his pleas.
"Fine," I headed to my car and went to the club.
"Hello boss," Carlos greeted.
"Hey," I answered. "Let's get this over with." I got the papers over here. He also had three glasses and a very expensive bottle of scotch on the table.
"One drink gentlemen," I announced.
"Long time no see Vito," a redhead said. I forgot her name. I didn't answer her.
"Cherry, we are busy," Carlos said.
"Fine, come find me later boss," the redhead winked at me as she swayed her hips while she walked away. I rolled my eyes.
"You don't seem to miss this," Carlos said.
"I don't," I replied harshly.
"He has other things preoccupying him at the moment," Antonio said to Carlos with a smirk.
"Other things," Carlos remarked. "Is one of those things Celina."
"Both of you shut up," I signed the papers and went to my office," Antonio said he would stay awhile and have a dance or two. I didn't mind. I was going to go straight home after I got this work done. I didn't like coming to Midnight Sky anymore.
"Boss," the redhead called. "I brought you another drink."
"Did I ask for it?" I said annoyingly.
"No, but Carlos had me send it up," I took the drink and downed it.
"I am leaving, you can go now,"
"Oh, come on, the fun has just begun," the redhead slowly walked over to me and ran her hands through my hair.
"What the f**k is wrong with me?" my vision was getting blurry and I couldn't stand straight.
Celina
It was past nine. Vito hadn't come home yet. He was always home by five. I got worried. I ate dinner alone and cleaned up as the hours kept passing. I was desperate and asked one of the guys if they knew where he was. None of them answered me. I called Antonio but he didn't answer me. It was around midnight and I got a text.
-He's not coming home tonight-
Then I got another text. It was a picture. Vito was being straddled by a redhead. My heart broke. It shattered into a million pieces. All my dreams and hopes were fading away. His kiss, I couldn't even remember what it felt like. I was trying to picture his smile but all I saw was his scowl. I couldn't think of anything but the pain. I dropped to my knees and let out a pain-filled cry. I grabbed my phone and looked for the card Brian had left. I began to dial him but I hung up before it could ring. I tried again. After one ring, I hung up. I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to admit to Brian that he was right. I was so angry. I ran to my room and got dressed. I put on jeans and a long-sleeved green top. I grabbed a jacket and just a few bills. I didn't want his money, his dirty money. I didn't know what I was going to do but I wanted to get the hell out of here. I tried to call Brian again but then Antonio was calling me.
"WHAT!" I shouted.
"What's wrong? You called me five times," Antonio said.
"Leave me alone," I hung up. I heard the music in the background. Antonio was at the club with Vito. They both betrayed me. They were both laughing behind my back. They probably thought I was just some stupid naive girl. Vito played me and lied to me once before, how could I be this stupid?
I ran outside. I saw Vito's men.
"s**t," I cursed. I went back inside and went to the terrace. I looked at the moon for a few minutes. This was just some game. I noticed an alley across the street. I made my way down the terrace fire escape. I ran to the alley and continued running until I was far enough away.
My phone began ringing again. First, it was Antonio. Then, Brian called me. I quickly answered.
"Hello,"
"Celina,"
"Brian, I want to leave Vito. Will you help me?"
"I will, where are you?" before I could answer him I felt an arm snake around my waist and another cover my mouth. The hand was cold. My heart began to race. I dropped my phone. He whispered in my ear and pulled me towards a wall. My face pressed up against the brick as he pulled my hands back and tied them. I was blindfolded next. Soon, I was dragged to a car. I was pushed onto the seat and it soon took off.
I don't know where.
Vito
"What the hell?" I said.
"You okay?" Antonio asked.
"Yeah," I remembered being pushed to my office chair, and as the redhead straddled me and took pictures I reached for my gun in my desk drawer. I shot her in the arm. I didn't want to kill her right away. Antonio ran up and tied her up. She yelled and cried. We forced her to tell us why she did this. She said a man paid her a million dollars to seduce me. I hadn't come to the club all the much so she never had a chance to but when she saw me tonight she decided to go for it. She had the simple instruction to drug me and send pictures to the girl I let stay at my house. I killed the dancer for what she did. I quickly drove home and noticed Celina wasn't there. I killed my men who were outside my home. They were meant to protect her and watch her every move. I was going crazy. Antonio called our cop friends and our own hacker. They all traced her phone. We found it five blocks away. The last number she called was an unknown number.
"FIND OUT WHO THE f**k THIS IS,"
