"Good morning beautiful," Brian said. I looked over at him as he closed the front door behind him.
"Hi," I replied.
"What are you up to?" he asked me.
"I was just reading," I told him.
"Always reading," he chuckled. "Want to go out today?"
"Can I?" I asked curiously.
"Well, I will keep you safe and we can go somewhere not in the city," Brian told me. I really wanted to do something different but I also felt unsure. I was scared and nervous at the possibility of running into Vito. My body wanted it but my heart was hesitant.
"I rather stay in," I said to Brian.
"You sure?"
"Yeah," he came over to sit on the couch next to me.
