Chapter 5: A New Life“Don’t look so sour, love,” Gabriel said jovially, brushing Christian’s hand with his thumb to catch his attention. “It’s a good thing that we’re going home, right? This is what you wanted.”
Christian looked away from the small window of the airplane to meet his lover’s soft gaze. He let his shoulders relax and slumped back in his seat, turning his hand upward so he could lace his fingers with Gabriel’s. They were returning from vacation in France, ready to start a whole new life in the town where they had met.
