  They all panicked and in their panic let go of me and I fell hard on my right shoulder and I made a muffled noise of pain. As if it heard me, the wolf’s eyes went to me and he let out a snarl.   “I’ll stay and guard her,” the main guy yelled, “The rest of you should take care of that wolf.”   He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder and I saw the wolf lunge and take off one of the men’s heads in a second.
