The sweet scent of something cooking was the first thing that reached me. I let out a yawn, squinting as I looked around. My brain was slow, still processing, until my gaze fell to my n***d chest. Then, everything came rushing back. I sat up straight, my heart pounding wildly. I swallowed hard, tracing a finger from my lips down to my neck. When I shifted, an intense, agonizing soreness flared between my legs. I gasped, trying to stand, but it was useless. He was a beast. I couldn’t keep up with his speed until I finally passed out.
