"Are you guys ready yet?" Lucy yells as she busts through the door.
“Yes, we're ready” I look to Adrian, and he nods in agreement and we head out. Sorry were driving instead of flying. We can use the tickets later.
Charlie is waiting with Nick at the bottom of the stairs as the three of us descend. Nick is very excited about going to the bayou. He has never been, and I have told him all the stories about how happy we were when we lived there. Lucy and Charlie took Nickolas in their car as we were leaving because I didn’t want him to get scared when we stop to visit Thomas I admit I am nervous just thinking about being back at that vile place. I know now this man possibly has my parents for whatever reason and I am terrified of him. I trust Adrian though he has power
