I wake feeling even stronger than the night before, wrapped tight in my husband’s arms. I take a deep soothing breath trying to push the dread of what’s to come to the back of my mind but my new powers tell me something bad is going to happen and soon. They just don’t tell me what. I struggle in my own head to get a hold of all the new things I am feeling and am not sure if I am the right person to control such power.
