I paced the floor, waiting for Adrian to return; It has been three days now. I don’t feel him anymore and his scent is fading from our bed. The pain I feel in my chest is nothing compared to the pain he must have felt knowing he might be stuck in that purgatory world Drau created. I run my hand through my hair and take a deep breath, trying to pull my thoughts to something else. I hear a knock at the door and I welcome the sound because I am going stir crazy without Adrian. Come in. Lucy opens the door. “Hey how are you holding up.” I shrug my shoulders, unable to express anything else. “Get dressed Rain and come downstairs. I have lunch waiting.” I am not hungry, Lucy; I can’t eat with Adrian in that place
