Rain’s Pov
We were pleased with how the first meeting went with the council. Adrian was working closely with the other members to ensure a voting system that would be in place in case anyone needed to be brought in front of the council for breaking the law.
Meanwhile, I was entertaining myself by watching Kamden and Amy. They had joined our packs, and they were moving here on to the crescent moon territory.
Amy’s Pov
I watch Kamden move the last of our stuff in to the cabin that Adrian had built for us near the pack house. I am nervous because I have never lived with a man before, and I have a mate like Kamden.
He is much different now, but I can still see the monster he was sometimes in his eyes.
