Rain’s Pov
Adrian wanted to take me out for lunch, so I showered and choose a natural outfit that could have been worn to a business meeting or a bar. He didn’t say where we were going, but rarely do we get time to do things like this; I mean, just take a day off from everything except each other.
I was excited to be going into the city; I hadn’t been since the night they kidnapped me and well, we all know how that ended.
We get to the garage and Adrian says choose, of course I always choose the jeep he bought just for me. He opens the passenger door for me to get in because he still won’t ride with me. After all, I have only been driving a few weeks.
The day he taught me to drive I almost crashed his car into a ditch trying to miss a squirrel that ran out in front of me.
