"I'm fine," she chuckled tearfully, "I was just worried about you, that's all." I smiled, patting her shoulders. "Thank you, Harles. So the devilish twins aren't in school yet?" "Nope!" She shrugged, leaning close to my locker. "I can't believe your aunt lost her house and absconded with your stupid cousins." "Best believe it." I opened my bag, placing some books inside. "It was always bound to happen." I zipped the bag. "So how's school?" She sighed. "Just there." She opened her bag, taking out lipstick and a hand mirror. "I swear I'm freaking bored." I clanked my locker shut. "Why?" A wry smile curled my lips. "Are you already bored with Jake?" Her eyes rolled. "He's gotten so boring." She applied the lipstick, rubbing her lips together. "I swear I need to freaking kiss someone."
