We entered my room, and Dennis wasted no time shutting the door behind us before guiding me towards the pink couch. "Sit," he said, pointing to a spot on the couch. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him, feeling frustrated that he was treating me like a naughty child. I sank onto the couch, folding my arms protectively around my midriff. I looked up at Dennis, who was standing right in front of me. "Okay, let's just take a deep breath." I nodded slowly, trying to calm him down. "I understand that you're angry, but Molly was feeling lonely and really wanted to go out. I couldn't say no to her, Dennis; I just couldn't." I pouted.
