Bianca   I couldn’t stop my mouth from dropping open as Ethan welcomed Isaac with open arms. Just hours ago at the auction, Isaac had practically dragged me away at the mere prospect of speaking with philanthropist Ethan Atwood.   Now, Ethan was grinning like they were old friends reuniting after years spent apart.   “Isaac, I’m so glad you came!” Ethan exclaimed, clapping Isaac on the shoulder and pulling him into a quick embrace.   Isaac returned the gesture, which surprised me even more. “Wouldn’t miss it,” he replied. “Especially after your generous donations tonight.”   My head was spinning as I stood awkwardly to the side, watching the entire exchange.
