Chapter Three: My first shift and my punishment

Ember soft voice drifted from the office Robert Got up and went to the office and closed the door. I couldn’t ease drop on them I pulled Lily and told her to get the bath ready for mom and I’ll start lunch. About 15 minutes went by and Robert and Ember came out, Robert looked at me I’ll be back, give your mother a hand he said as he was walking out the door. Ember looked at Lily and me and with a small smile said did I her someone drawl me a bath? Lily clueless to what the Alpha just did smile brightly I did she said. Ember said thank you Hun I am going to take that bath now. Here I moved quickly to her side and said let me help as I let her lean on me to the bathroom, I then helped her get in and then brought her a green bottle filled with green silk like sap. She looked at me with surprise I could feel her joy as she said looks like someone has been reading ahead in the healing remedies. I Just smiled and said I’ll let you bath alone, and I’ll go get you a towel. Ember spoke softly thank you Evolet as she squeezed my hand as left.  I returned to the kitchen with Lily and eat my lunch pondering as well as wondering what awaits me tomorrow, would Evert, or for that matter would Ember? As if Lily could since my uneasiness, she touches my hand and gave it a squeeze and replied you would be a better Alpha and smiled a heart warm smile. I looked at her and said Lily the day I become Alpha I would be honored to have you my sister and my best friend as my Beta I said as tear threaten to fall aging that day. We both smiled and hugged each other, oh Lily said I almost forgot she ran to our room. She returns a few mins later and handed me a leather braided bracelet with a dream catcher charm on it. Then said now no matter if we are apart, we just must look down at are wrist and know are connect by spirit and heart, as she showed me hers identical as mine. Time see to fly  by the rest of the day Ember took her bath ,eat a sandwich and told me to help Lily to pack her thing and that they we going on a vacation for month or so and then with a trembling body said she was going to take a nap. We did as we were told and packed Lily’s thing and wondered where they would go. But I just had this feel that it wasn’t a vacation it was somewhere safe for Lily and if it keeps her safe then as sad as it would be to miss her I would rather her be far away from my bio father. I started to make dinner hot dogs and mac and cheese as Ember came into the kitchen, she still looks worn but stronger than she did earlier. She looked at Lily and asked her if she would be so kind to fold the cloths I have on the bed and put them in my suitcase. Lily jumped up from her drawing and ran to her parents’ room to get started. I looked at Ember and said in a soft voice it’s not a vacation is it? Ember look me for a few minutes then respond Evolet you are very gifted with insights but no it not. As she continued me, and Lily are leaving the Red Moon pack for good. I put up my hand to stop her I don’t need to know any more if it keeps you safe its best, I don’t know I said. She came around the counter and hugged me tightly and whisper in my ear this secret is the only thing I can give you to help you with the years ahead of you. Do you remember the tree we stop and take a breather on are run she asked? Yes, I replied, under that root you have always sat on their buried under the root is a metal box with a joual from your bio Mother. She said to give to you when I could no longer help, sadly today is that day sweetie. As she kissed me on the head and let go of our hug Robert came in looking exhausted, he looks to his beloved mate with sore in his eye as he replied it’s been arranged for tonight at midnight. Ember crossed the floor and hug her beloved as if it was the last time, she would see him for long time. My heart hurt with the truth of my own thoughts. Lily finished packing Ember Cloths and we all except Evert sat down for our last dinner together.

Robert took Ember and Lily at midnight after we all said our goodbyes. As I held onto my Embers picture as I laid in bed staring at the moon preparing my best for what awaited tomorrow with my life living in the pack house and the Monster my Father.

Morning came, I got up and got dressed and ran to our tree that Ember told me about before she left yesterday. I found the root and started to dig, I dug deeper and deeper until I hit a metal box.  I pulled out the box and opened it and inside the box as a journal and one picture of my birth mother. I then closed the metal box and reburied it under the root. Then ran the rest of the trail back home I and put the journal in my suitcase with the rest of my belonging and then took a nice shower. Then eat breakfast and waited. The house has never been so quite both Robert and I didn’t speak we just waited in silent.

Talon arrived by 10:00 am he knocked on the door loudly, Robert got up and answered the door “Alpha he said as he bowed his head” and waived him in.  Talons tall frame entered our house I had to force myself to bow and not to attack this monster.  As he enters, he smells the room as if searching for Ember, he then stopped in the living room looking me over with his human blue eyes and he spoke only to Robert where is your mate Robert?  My eye looked to Robert has he tried to remain clam I could smell a small hit of fear coming from him. As he responds I apologize my alpha she left me last and took Lily with her. Talon Grabbed Robert by the throat and razed him off the ground as Talon spoke through clench teeth and his eye tinting with red YOU LET MY OMGA LEAVE WITH OUT MY PRIMISSION!

 Robert pulled at Talon hands around his neck trying too pull the away so he could breath. I could stand it anymore I was already angered by this man I wasn’t about to let him hurt another person I care about. I used all my weight and hit Talon in the back of his knees make him lose his grip on Robert as he tried not to fall over. I ran to Robert and pulled him away from Talon as he regained his breathing and I shield him with my small body as Talon rose from the ground composing himself as he said Robert, I will deal with you later. For now, I think I’ll show my daughter I am not one to be messed with as he grabbed me by both arms and hauled me over his shoulder I hit and kicked him, but I didn’t budge.

 Robert try to get up but stopped when Talon Alpha voice said bring her stuff to the pack house oh and Robert, Talon turn and stared at Robert as he said with warning in his voice do remember who your alpha is and slam the door as he carried me over his shoulder toward the pack house. But instead of entering the front door he entered in a back door that lead down a dark hall until he reaches a grand old oak tree door he opens and entered the this was huge room filled with torture devise everywhere. It hit me like an ice-cold wind that hit my entire body the was the same room in Ember dream where he tortured my mother and aunt. He set me down with a death grip on my right arm as he chained handcuffs on both of my wrist. Then he tightens the chain against the wall that pull my back against the wall.

I look around the room as he looks for the devise, he was going to punish me with. I could smell old blood, fear, hate, regret, and pain in the dungeon the smell was so overwhelming it made my legs weak. He spoke my addition returned to him as he said well... well little pup you are the first and only one that hasn’t spoken or plead for there life that has entered this room. as he smiled wickedly as he sharpened the blade in his hand. He studied me like he was trying to decide how he was going to punish me.

 I closed my eye I could feel  my inner beast senses coming to the survives at that moment I felt a cold blade next to my forearm I open my eyes as Talon cut my right forearm then my left no word left my mouth or scream I wouldn’t dare give him the satisfaction that it was painful. He didn’t cut to deep it wouldn’t kill me but possibly leave scares. He studied me all I did was   stare with hate in my eyes at this monster. I could since his disappoint of my no reaction to his pain he afflicted on me. Before he could afflict more pain to me the was a loud bang on the old oak door.

Talon opened the door WHAT? he shouted in frustration. Alpha we are under attack on the south boarder it the rouge again. He looked back at me and slammed the door and I heard it lock from the outside. I close my eyes as the pain in my arms stung, my breath deepens. I could feel my inner beast about to reach the surface suddenly, I felt safe the pain in both arms stopped.

 I could feel something I have never felt then she spoke “it going to be okay Evolet I am Vixey your fox spirit. I am here to help guide you and protect you just rest, and I’ll heal us” as my body gives away to sleep.  I wake up a few hour later in a room with a few bookshelves, a desk, one window with bar on it and my suitcases next to the bed. As I got off the queen-sized bed and as I notice there is food and water on the nightstand. I look down at me for arms and see that both of my cuts were all healed. “Why so surprised?” soft voice girl asked from the doorway.

 I turned around to face a thin pale brown hair girl I’ve never see before, but I noticed the bracelets on her wrist that symbolize her a slave. I could sense she was a wolf only by her scent. I asked, “who she was and why she was here?” she replied I am Amelia and I was given to the alpha Talon as a peace offer from star light pack. Before I could say or ask anything else Talon opened the door and spoke to Amelia go tented to my bath water.  As he full stepped into the large room he was once again covered in blood and this time the smell was so strong it made my stomach twist. He smiled at me wicked as he started at me you and I have unfinished business but only if you challenge my authority again.

 So, I warn you young pup don’t challenge me again or you will regret it as he turned and slammed the door. For the next few weeks I would explore the pack house but keep running in to the older teen wolfs and I could smell the lust they had for me I would try to avoid them, but they keep finding me. I wasn’t sure what they wanted I had a feel it was close to lust that Talon had for Ember. But thankful I had  Vixey, she  is wise a cunning she would guide me in way of hiding or invading the males but today was my day the had plan a trap even Vixey couldn’t get us out of I was corner by three male. Teen wolfs that just recently shifted that had me cornered then pinned in moments.

Then the tallest one had the other two hold me down as my face was to the ground as he shifts a little to have his claws and slowly start to rip my clothing.  Vixey was going to let what ever this was to happen I too slight shifted and bitten to the one boy hand so hard I made it bleed then yelled ROBERT! The other two cover my mouth with a shirt. But the boy I bit was curse up a storm in pain. In all five seconds passed all three boys where down on the ground pinned by the Beta as he was in wolf form and very pissed of showing his very sharp canines. Talon appeared and next to him was Amelia he said in a flat tone take her to her room and look the door ill deal with her later. Amelia as small as she had picked me up and carried me to my room why I tried to keep myself covered.

But before we were too far away, I saw Alpha Talon hit Robert on the head and kicked him to the side before he shifts into his black as night wolf. I try to get out of Amelia arms to go check on Robert, but Amelia grip on me became very strong she was digging her wolf nails into my flesh, blood started to running down my arms I tried my best not to cry. Amelia reach my room and throw me to the ground with her wolf strength it took all my effort not to scream in pain of the impact of the ground as my arms bleed more on the ground. I didn’t dare move it hurt to much. I looked up to Amelia in a calm voice I ask what’s wrong with her? Her hair was a mess she had sweat on her forehead I could feel her hatred and lust and her eye where sharp as daggers. As she replies you really are become a pain and if you keep interfering with Alpha Talons plans then you will regret it and ill make your life a living hell. Amelia said as she crosses the floor to me and wrapped both arms in bandages the left without another word closing and locking the door from the other side. Three days later Amelia entered with my normal lunch as she set it down she spoke cruelly as she told me that from now on I wouldn’t be aloud to leave this room and that I would have a tutor and trainer come in teach me but all training and learning will be done in this room. Then she grabbed my arm undid the bandages to see her claw marks were completely gone. She snarled at me and left; I could feel her anger that she didn’t leave scars on my body upset her. Which somewhat set of a chain reaction with her that for the next few months that she would cause me much pain by try to leave scars on my body but to her dis may my healing ability that I learned came from Vixey from my mother journal as well as why the men seam to find me and lust after me all the time. Was because of my fox blood it had this incredible irresistible scent that drives males crazy.  The next six months were full hard training because Talon want me to stay fit for my future, he had planned for me. As well as my studies he honestly just doesn’t want to deal with me, so he tried to keep me busy. I got to see Evert got to visit me every two weeks it was hard not getting to see my brother on a daily but this year has had many ups and down he grown tall and more confident in him self and is no longer shy. Which made me happy for him, but I longed to be outside and out of this pack house to be able to train with everyone aging and to see Robert, Ember and Lily again. Rather than being tortured by a derange girl, a crazy controlling father that keeps me suck in this room for the past year. I didn’t even get to enjoy my and Evert birthday because I wasn’t able to see him, and Talon wouldn’t let me even come out of this room. I haven’t even seen Beta Robert since the day he saved me from those three new shift teens.

Today was Evert six visit since he starts his Alpha training, I was happy for my brother and ask if he would show me so of his new moves that he has learn in his Alpha training. We end up training for three hours. As I just a side sweeping kick and knocking him to the ground, we both turn in fear hear Talons angry growl  from the door way with in seconds Talon had Evert neck in his grasp and was chocking the living air out of him I could see Amelia smiling in pleasure as she just watched Talon Trying to kill my only brother. Talon yelled at Evert “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TEACHING HER FOR?” Evert voice barely a whisper “we were just messing around dad...”  As his face was turning blue in horror of the sight I couldn’t stand it anymore it crossed a line and I felt this new energy rushing through me as I ran at Talon I had shifted for the first time into my wolf form.  I jumped Talon and dug my canines in collar bone as he released Evert dropping him to the floor. I dug in deep cause pain and blood to drip form him he was beyond pissed and try to shake me off I wouldn’t budge. He shifts into his wolf I could feel all his anger and pain and intent to kill me. I let go and got in front of Evert as he sat up slow being able to breathe again, I would protect my family at all cost. Talon wolf growl and was baring his huge canines and his lunged at me and I dodged him and managed to get a huge cut on his chin to his neck. Making him bleed even more. He tries to lunge at me aging he manage to bite into my front paw deep and I in returned growled and bite him in the ear causing more blood. To spill over the room. Beta Robert appear out of nowhere and pleaded with Talon, “Alpha, please stop this if do kill her or your son who would be the future alpha and who would make amends our rival pack?” Talon stepped back so did I even thought I was confused by Beta Roberts statement. Before I could do anything else, I was knocked out cold. Days later I awoke I was chained to the wall in the torture room again as I tried to move, I could feel intense pain all over my body. As I looked down, I could see dry old blood all over my body. I felt so confuse I try to reach Vixey to understand what has just happened, but she was silent.  “She can’t reply right now Evolet she too weak from healing you back to back for the last three days.” Said a soft sweet voice from inside. “Then who are you”, I asked? I am your inner wolf Brianna she replied. Also, what do you mean the last three days I asked?
