"Aye yo G let's go" Jeremy yelled from downstairs

"Uh yea coming"

"Baby do you have to go" Steph whined

"Of course I do if I didn't how would I buy you all the nice things" I answered booping her nose

"Fine but they better be really nice to be pulling you out of bed when you promised to stay here with me all day"

Stephanie was my girlfriend of almost one year and as she keeps reminding me an anniversary gift is a must not that I would have forgotten or anything I just don't see forever with her don't get me wrong she's beautiful blonde hair blue eyes and a little button nose but she fits the stereotype she's vein and shallow our families are uh close they've known eachother for centuries and we were kind of pushed together and though she was thrilled I agreed telling her we would see what happens.

"Let's go!" Jeremy yelled impatiently from the doorway of my room

I kissed Steph on the forehead following Jeremy out the door to the truck

When we got to the mall it was packed Jeremy, Colby, Jackson, and Matt all wanted to go to the food court first on our way there we passed by a lingerie store which of course caught their attention

"Aye G this would look hot on your girl" Colby says waggling his eyebrows laughing I continued to walk

"hmph"

I felt a warm tiggle up my arm as we briefly touched, looking down I see a pool of copper waves, kneeling I extend my hand mumbling an apology then

She.

Looked.

At.

Me.

Piercing green eyes shot right through me. My angel I thought. Looking startled she scrambled to her feet not saying a word and began to run off

"Wait!" I yelled out.

She hesitated a moment before continuing to run from me I started to go after her when I felt a hand on my shoulder

"Come on man im starving" said Matt

We finish our walk to the food court and ordered our food I got my favorite crispy honey chicken from the Chinese place but sitting down to eat I sudden didn't want it I just wanted to find that girl

"Earth to greyson," jackson said waving his hand in front of my face

"What's wrong with you man you're staring off into space and normally you'd be half way through that chicken"

"Ugh it's nothing I'm just thinking is all" I said rubbing the back of my neck

"About steph? Yea I think about her too" Colby said with a smirk he loved to tease me about hooking up with steph he thought it got under my skin but I couldn't care less he could have her.

"Ha your jokes never get old Co, tell me when's the last time you brought a girl home" his smirk turned to a scowl and I chuckled.

The guys continued to joke with eachother laughing and yelling while I pushed the food around on my tray I glaced up, I saw the copper waves walking into a*****e. I got up and headed that way

"Where are you going" jackson hollered after me

"I..I have to get a gift for steph" I said over my shoulder still walking.

I didn't have a plan I didn't know what I would say or if I could even talk to her but I have to see her again.

"Lei Rick is such a peice of s**t why do you put up with him?" her friend said.

Who's Rick? And why is he a peice of s**t? Is he her boyfriend? Did he hurt her? I clenched my fist I needed to protect her.

"I know but having him around is good for my mom I think" she said in a soft angelic voice it was music to my ears.

"I say we take him out, I know a pig farmer who owes me a favor" her friend replied

I snorted a laugh causing them to look at me

"What's so funny creeper" her fiery friend continued "it's rude to eavesdrop you know"

The beautiful angel nudged her friend in the ribs causing her to yelp "jess stop thats.." She said in a hushed tone looking at the floor.

Her friend Jess mouthed *oh*

"I wasn't trying to eavesdrop drop" I said "but if you're going to plan a murder you might want to be more quiet about it at this rate you'll be locked up before you even form a plan"

Giggling jess replied with "oh so you've planned a murder before"

"If I have you'd never know because I know how to keep a secret"

"Ha I like you the names Jessica" she shoved her hand out for a shake taking it I said

"greyson"

The red-haired beauty looked up a light blush tinged her cheeks.

"This is Leighton her future father in law is the victim"

Leighton nervously laughed

"Hi she's just kidding I swear" her blush growing darker by the second

"Anyways grey you want to get lunch with us and discuss this plan further?"

"Jessica" Leighton said in a hushed yell

"Your friend here doesn't seem to want that"

Leighton went back to staring at her feet

"Oh her she's just shy she doesn't get out much"

I chuckled

"For the love of..." Leighton started

"Come on lets go" Jessica said grabbing my arm and leading me back to the food court.

Leighton followed behind glancing over my shoulder every couple of steps I caught her shooting daggers into jessicas back.
