BONUS EPILOGUE     BARAN     Eight months later…   Scorpions were said to primarily live in the desert and other desolate places. The particular scorpion he was after, apparently lived in a rustic hunting cabin in the Nevada desert. Or so the anonymous text message had claimed. Baran peered through his binoculars at the shack in the distance. It sat underneath a mountain ridge and was surrounded by thickets. Inside was his prey for the night.
