Chapter 33: PHASE ONE Part 2

Princess Nuri's POV:

As per the plan I was expecting mama to be here any time now if she would teleport. And as expected that is what she did. And I was so glad to see her.

"I am sorry about the earlier fiasco, mama," I said hugging her. "Nothing to apologize about. Did everything work out with Adam? Because I think I did..." She looked at me knowingly.

"Mama, he and daddy helped me shift here. But now he is at work." I continued to gush about Adam and how accomplished he was even at 21, and how excited I was about her meeting him, “Even daddy feels you will love him. Did daddy tell you that he asked daddy for permission to date me... I had never heard such a thing before, I only read about in one of the novels you got me when you were on one of your trips with dad, and I never expected to ever experience something like that!”

“I am so happy for you my dear!”

“Okay, so I need to bring you to speed concerning the plan,” I told mama the entire plan I had worked out and discussed with daddy and Adam. She too was on board.

"The past 3 years you learned Roark very well. He reacted exactly as you expected and so did King Fin."

"They played with our customs and my love, just to use me and my child. I am so glad we had that talk before my 12th birthday, and I listened to you. But mama, what I feel with Adam is different, he is always on my mind."

"I know my dear, just how your father is on mine."

"Mom!!!" 

"People share everything with their best friend... You are my best friend... I am entitled..."

When mama and I were together, no one would say she was the Queen of the strongest dragon clan. She had always been my best friend. We chatted some more, and then she looked at me with a stern expression, "I know you are not wanting to worry your father and me, but you can tell me anything. You remember that right?"

Mama knew me too well, and she knew that how Roark and King Fin using me had hurt me, and the only thing that had held me together was reconnecting with Octava and of course meeting Adam. They were my strength and so was she. So I moved forward and placed my head in her lap and let the tears that left run down my cheeks, while she ran her fingers through my hair.

"This is the last time I am going to shed a tear for what has happened. I am stronger than this. And with you, daddy, Octava, and Adam, I am not going to let anything ever break me."

"My strong little dragon! How precious you are to me and how much you have grown. Your father and I have always raised you to be a strong, independent woman. And seeing how you are handling the situation shows me that your father and I have done a pretty good job. What do you think?"

"You'll are the best! And that is never going to change!"

I realized it was getting late, and mama would have to go back. Daddy would be waiting for an update... We both knew it.

Mama hugged me, "I better get going, or there might be a rampage in the castle. To be honest, I am thoroughly surprised how your father has contained his anger and not already declared war on the Phoenix clan, but I am sure that was you're doing." We both laughed at this. "So I better head back. I will see you soon my dear. Wish us luck for the execution of our end of the plan."

"You and daddy will handle it beautifully, you'll are the best strategist I have ever met."

"I love you, my dear. I will see you soon." "I love you too mama. See you soon."

And mama teleported back to the castle.

With all the chatting I had not realized the time and quickly got to making a quick dinner. One of the things mama had ensured was part of my training.

I was almost done, making pasta and meatball curry when I heard a knock on the door.
