Third Person's POV:
The shifting went through smoothly, and though her father and Adam were there, Nuri did the arrangements rather silently while continuously strategizing on how to proceed further. The plan had to be thorough and well-executed to ensure that Roark and King Fin would end up declaring what their plan was.
Half the day went by with the final touches till the house was the way Nuri wanted it. And when they sat down for lunch, she laid out her plan. King Devlin and Adam were amazed by how precisely she had thought about everything. They went through every detail and asked her about the parts they were quizzical about, only to be satisfied with her clarity.
The first part of the plan would be executed by the King on returning home. It would take a while for this part to get completed by the latter segments of the plan depended completely on Roark, though he did not even know it.
After lunch, the King left to initiate the execution of the plan, while Adam left to look into work, which Nuri completely understood.
Nuri waited patiently for a response from her father. Depending on the outcome of today's plan she would proceed with the plan devised or have to tweak it to get the desired outcome. It would be within a few hours that the plan would be in motion.
Roark's POV:
King Devlin returned looking rather fazed, as he entered the Great Hall where the Draconis clan Queen, father, and I were discussing plans on locating Nuri. All my attempts to find her though magic had failed and no matter the number of search parties we sent none returned. We were all looking in the direction of the King when he said, "We found her!" None of us could believe it. Father immediately questioned, 'Then where is she? Why is she not with you? Was the King of the great dragon clan Draconis unable to save his only daughter..."
While father was taunting the King, the Queen quickly stepped forward, "Devlin, where is she? What has happened?"
He looked defeated as he spoke to her "She would not tell me what happened. More than us finding her, it was her finding us. But she was not in a clear state of mind. She took down the entire task force, but in the end, I was able to subdue her. And later when she calmed down a bit she only asked for you. I need you to help our daughter." "I will head over to her right now, just tell me where she is." The queen responded.
"I want to see her," I said directing everyone's attention to me. I could not take this anymore, someone has hurt what was mine, had tried taking away what was mine, and they would pay. They had harmed her to such an extent in a single day that she was not herself right now, but I will take care of her and return her to her true self.
"Phoenix heir, she is not herself at the current moment. I request you to wait. Let us fulfil her request of only sending her mother." The King looked extremely distressed, and I could only nod my acceptance of the current situation.
"He is her mate, he will see her now." Father bellowed giving me a hard glare. "We will not be ignored."
"What you need right now is not our primary concern and neither should it be yours. Your to-be daughter-in-law requires help and all you can think about is you being ignored. Do I need to remind you that you are standing in the Great Hall of the dragon clan Draconis, and even though my daughter is young, every single clan member is devoted to her. We will be looking to her needs first, and if I deem you to be interfering in us looking to her well-being, I will personally detain you. Do I make myself clear King Fin?"
I had never seen anyone talk in such a manner to father, and here the Queen had him seething with rage. I quickly stepped forward in an attempt to diffuse the situation which was becoming increasingly volatile. "Father, please let us give her some time." Then I turned to the Queen, "Your Majesty, kindly tend to your daughter's needs. Please do note that the members of the Phoenix clan will be ready to assist in any means possible."
The Queen linked with King Devlin for the details and teleported right away.
I looked to the King and excused myself and my father. Once we were in his chambers I was rammed against the wall, "Don't you dare declare anything concerning my people. They will do only what I want them to do... What I tell them to do."
"I apologize, my King. I thought it better since..."
"DO NOT THINK! You were only meant to impregnate that female, and even that you could not do."
"My King, I cannot go against her will or the plan will be affected." Father's hold on me released on hearing this.
"There you are correct. We need her to give an heir willingly. So this is how we will proceed,..." Father went on to discuss a strategy to get us back on track with his plan.
